topic MPxNode::shouldSave -> fail for my mesh output in Maya Programming Forum

Hi,
I have 2 different node types. Both have a mesh output. For both I use identical functionality for the creation of the respective attributes and both attributes are top level, non-multi attributes.
Both are set to be storable, because I want to store them (yes).
For both nodes I implemented the MPxNode::shouldSave() functionality.
Yet only for one of the two node types, the function is called when I save.
Sooooo...why may that be? I am clueless...
Thanks for help!

Could you send us a sample code with sample scene setup? I could have a look at it.

Yours,
