If you had it in a MEL or Python tab when you launched Maya and you still have Maya open, it would be in one of the

maya/2011-x64/prefs/scriptEditorTemp/commandExecuter text files

MEL Command History?

Hello Peeps,
I am in serious trouble, I have overwritten a .mel script that I have been working for a while. Is there a history log of the mel commands that were executed previously stored somewhere in the Maya directory? I am using Maya 2011.

The history I know of is just a panel in the Script Window.

I am trying all sorts of file recovery right now and hope that my previously executed commands from this script will be stored somewhere as recovery doesn't quite seem to work right now..

Thank you!

Dave
