Hello,

I am having trouble command line rendering from my mac. I believe everything is working fine because I tried entering the correct prompts with 'sw' - software renderer and it worked just fine.

I am pretty sure I have the latest service packs and am on OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.

I think the system is looking for files that are not there. I did a bit of research on the forums and saw that after 2016.5 update the maya terminal files were removed.

Is there anyway to get this working for 2017?

Regards,

Julio

It looks like you are trying to render with Mental Ray. Do you have Mental Ray installed for Maya 2017?
