Maya Crashing While using UV Editor

Alright so I am currently trying to UV an asset I am working on and every time I move the selected shell, in any direction it crashes Maya so hard it doesn't even generate a log. Literally all I do is, Delete History, Planar Map to the Y Axis, "W," Then move on the X axis, but as soon as I click it just freezes and crashes. I'm literally on the last shell for the asset and it wont let me finish XD any ideas would be a huge help.

Do you have a simple scene that reproduces this?

No, but I fixed it I think, well kinda, I exported it as an FBX and then imported it and that seemed to solve the issue.
