Is it really deleted? Green-Magenta coloring is a sign of lost connection between obj and shader (SG, set).

Can't replicate it myself. If you could intentionally go for a crash with ScriptEditor open (possibly Echo All Cmds ON), then on the way it could spit out some hint warning/error, or at least the last message could bring some meaning (make screenshot while Maya signals about the crash).

Perhaps, deleting construction history can save you from crashing.

Hi, after certain actions, such as after using the retopo feature or the combining of two mirrored meshes, the model turns neon green (pink when an image is rendered). The issue is solved by applying a new shader, but I have no idea when and why teh initial shader was deleted? As a rule after 2-3 actions, the computer crushes. I repeated these actions with different models and still the same result. Any idea what is causing this and how I could avoid this?
