I just can't do the Quad raw on my model after combining the other objects together

Hello Everyone, I had this problem when I finished combining many objects to one final object and when I did the Quad raw the point just couldn't appear on my model. Anyone has had this problem before? Please help!

Hi!

Something went wrong with your upload, because it's just and empty scene at our end.

But just a guess, could it be that you didn't put your object into live mode?

Generally for quaddraw to stick to an object you need to turn it "live".

Which you can do by selecting the object and clicking on the button below.

No, my friend, I choose the object and hit the live button then nothing happened, I tried with other parts and it works but this object just has no response.

I could open it now.

The reason you can't use quaddraw, is because your normals are inside out. Quaddraw can only be used on the front side of polygons.
You can better see which side polygons are facing by turinging on "Backface Culling" in your Viewports Shading tab, which makes polygons transparent when looked at from the back side.

You can fix this by selecting all the polygons in face mode and then using the Mesh "Display> Reverse" command.

Can I ask about this new problem? I now can use Quad Raw but the points are not on the surface, they are just hanging over the surface and don't even touch the surface. What is the problem with this?

I think I had a similar issue once and it turned out to be a problem with your scale. Your object is rather small, which can cause selection tolerance issues. Try to scale up both the object you snap to and the quad draw object by a factor of 10. If they don't have the same pivot, group them first and then scale the group.

Maybe that solves your problem?

Otherwise please attach the scene so I can take a closer look at how exactly quad draw is misbehaving.
