I find it soooo impossible how games these times are made, while I can't even Make the textures fit in the models. I'm really like, pissed off that the tutorials don't even help me. I tried to create a ball, ad kinda make it look cool (like each 2 subdivisions a little "extrude"  to the inside) But the problem on this little useless ball was, I couldn't make the textures fit, since the cheackerboard showed off "bad"   Like the inbetweens of the ball area was like streched, the top side was ugly... so I tried my best, by creating a uv snapshot, and painted on it. very ugly. but that's not the point. I spened 2 hours on this little thing, and what happened? It simply gave me an error.  maya closed as always after that error, and now EVERYTHING is gone, so the question is, if you get a stupid error and it closes the program, does it atleast "save"  from what you've made so you can open it back?! I really don't want to do it again, and a question, Does someone here know a youtube video tutorials, where YOU learned to be a pro maya user? I'm watching random things but it still doesn't make me good, please just tell me a youtube account/name even if it has 30 video's and each is 2 hours. I want to learn maya so very badly. that isn't the big deal. now, I'm creating a mod (horror game) and want to create own entities, and later even a monster. I can create a game, but I can't create models. (lucklily the game itself has A LOT of models) But the problem is, the last time when i'm "gaming"  I don't feel the game that much. Believe me, you really don't want to see me playing a game. I play a game, I look to the models and am like, I wish I could've do this... I see the monsters/zombies, I say wow! but Unfortunatly they make the "monsters/peoples"  from a crazy looking machine haha, the aniamtions too. I really wish I can create whatever model I want... You know what it is? the game developers these times are more like:  We can create WHATEVER we want, we just don't get the idea's/ or have too much idea's"  I am more like:  I have SO many cool idea's, but I can't even model 1 pencil and texture it good... Sorry for my bad English, i'm so sorry ;( Hopefully there will be someone that can help me, and maybe can tell me a youtuber that actually makes usefull vids. Btw, for some of you, i;m not that noob at maya.
