Hotbox not working on Cintiq 13HD

I'm having a problem when working on Autodesk Maya 2017 in a classroom at the University where I work.

Classroom hardware is as following:

IMac, Cintqi 13HD touch and pen, and a video projector (for the students to follow class' work).

Whenever I try to, run Maya on the Cintiq, it seems to work fine but the shortcut to open switch cameras in the Hotbox (SPACEBAR then Right Click) doesn't work (right click is configured to be the bottom pen button).

If Maya in in the Imac's display, it works fine, but If Maya in in the Cintiq's display, this menu doesn't work.

Other classrooms have the same configuration only with PCs and there it works just fine.

I was wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong, if its a bug of 2017 (since this didn't happen in 2016.5) or if there's anyway to fix this issue.

haing the same problem here. Works on the main screen, not on the cintiq. I tried to change the hot key, no good.

Sorry to revive this ancient thread but I'm still having this issue, Cintiq 16 and using Maya 2022. Any tips would be appreciated, I love the hotbox and wish I could use it!

Just found this thread. I am having the exact same issue on a Cintiq 16 pro. The hotbox only partially displays on the Cintiq but no issue when I switch to the main display.

I think I have found a possible solution:

Right click on Maya > Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI setting > Override high DPI scaling behavior > set it to System.

Doing this brought back the Hotbox
