Maya 2016 - Save Distortion Issues

Haven't found anyone with this particular problem online and I'd like to see if someone knows anything about it.

I spend a few hours modeling an object until Its to my liking, then I save and the next time I reload the file some parts are distorted; Like it De-synced with my renderer and only catches up when I reload it. Some vertexes are lifted or a face is inverted, OR it creates some weird NEW geometry.

I've reinstalled and updated clean versions but the problem still arises.

OS Microsoft Windows 10 Home
Version 10.0.10586 Build 10586
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3970X CPU @ 3.50GHz, 3501 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB

Hi!

I don't think this issue is hardware-related, so more information is needed about your scene and your object. Could you upload a scene-file?
