Hi,

I have a problem in distributing objects evenly.

I searched the Google and found that I need to use [ Modify -> Snap Align Objects -> Align Object ]

This is my situation:

And after I used the tool:

Please take note of the middle and the before-last pole.

How can I fix this?

I know I can manually translate the y-axis. But I feel really upset for this.

Or maybe I just use it incorrectly?

Hi,

I assume that all of the fences are equal right? I have never used this method before so I suggest you to wait for a better solution or try the possible solution I will provide ;P.

I would create a curve and use the create animation path option.

select the fence object and then the curve and click on constrain -> motion path -> attach to motion path

go into graph view and select the object

you can now see a curve and you need to linear out the points (you might have 2)

the x value of the last point defines how many objects you get between the curve you have defined with a curve tool

so, for example, moving the last point to (30 | 1) results in 30 objects (1 frame 1 object)

now with the object selected go to visualize -> create animation snapshot and open the settings

now in the settings you just need to set the end frame to the number of objects you have defined earlier in my case it would be end time: 30

so it can look like this:

As you can see the first and the last aren't aligned but this is just a matter of rotation or I just missed a setting.

EDIT: Oh I can see that of course you dont want any rotation. For that you need to break the connection of the z rotation after you have linked the object onto the curve.

EDIT:

Regards,
