Maya 2018 UV editing very slow

Hi,

I am having the problem that i have a simple charcater with 25K Polycount and the UV editor is extremely slow.

For ex. i want to move uv shells and it reacts very sloooow. Very frustrasting.

Win 10, 64 bit

Maya 2018, Update 2

Nvidia GTX 1060, 6GB Vram

Any help or do i have to export the obj and do the uv editing in an external software?

What GPU are you using and are the drivers up to date?

Steps to update your drivers can be found here!

Also when you get a chance, can you please zip and attach the scene file here or via dropbox/google drive or another file sharing program so I can take a look at it?

Thank you.

I have a Nvidia GTX 1060 with 6GB Vram

I deleted the the history on the object and its working better now. Not
perfect but much better!
