Yes, that's funny , the pipe doesn't follow the scale rules.

Pipe wrong dimensions (?)

Hi there!

I'm not completely new to Maya, since I've been using it for some time now, but I'm nowhere an expert.

Anyway, I noticed only yesterday that when I create a polygon pipe (the cylinder with a hole, just to be more clear) the height seems not to match what the channel box indicates.

For example, I created a 3cm height cylinder and a 3cm height pipe. When I moved one close to the other, I noticed they weren't the same size! After twicking the dimensions, I found out that I needed to double the pipe height to make them match.

You can see this in the pictures attached. Note: I am using Maya 2015; no scale was applied to either of them, and they have the same Z and X coordinates, so they're "just" side by side.

Am I missing something here, or is this actually some kind of bug?
