Hello @davidtorresmonteiro,

This is not something that is supported in Maya natively. This process could be performed manually but you would require a script to do so in an automated way. If you are looking to begin scripting there are many phenomenal tools for getting started.

I hope this has answered your question!

Hi,

is it possible to batch export each of the blendshapes of a character as a separate obj file?

Do you eventually know a script wich offers this funtionality?

Thanks a lot!

David

Try OBJ Toolkit 1.2 by Jan Jinda perhaps?

"This toolkit is a set of simple scripts tailored to provide clean, easier and more effective workflow for handling OBJ files in Maya.

Thanks to the Import as blend shape options it keeps all your scene hierarchy, geometry UVs, shader assignments etc.

It was intensively tested on projects like Pacific Rim: Uprising, Venom and lately Avengers: Endgame."
