Each time I import a fbx it messes up my scene.

When I try to import a fbx file (lighpole) to the scene it messes up my scene(garage). Please guide me slowly if you have a solution. Thank you. Screen shots are attached below.

I am using Maya 2018 student.

Please upload the files, it's impossible to tell what's causing this just from the screenshots.
