The demo is with Maya 2027 but its also a issue with older versions. Does anyone know a way to fix this issue?

The Grab Tool (part of Maya’s sculpting brushes) has a documented bug that causes vertices to snap to random locations (or the world center) when dragging across a high-poly Live Object. This affects all versions, including Maya 2027. You can resolve this using several confirmed workarounds.
