xGen Interactive not working with any Maya version

Hey everyone.

I'm having a serious issue with Interactive xGen. First, I have to admit, I don't do a lot of hair. NPR rendering doesn't really render well with thousands of strands! but I have experience with xGen Interactive although I haven't used it close to a year and a half if not a bit more. Today is one of those days that I need it, but something strange is happening. Interactive xGen is not working. The following video is with Maya 2026, deleted preference, so nothing is loaded other than vanilla Maya. I tried with Maya 2023, 2024, 2026 and 2027. I have an RTX 3080 and I'm running on latest Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (I'm really hoping it is not an OS thing). xGen description is working fine, converting to interactive groom turns the groom into a dummy as the video.

Hi Everone, a small update. A user on discord suggested the issue might be from a new Nvidia studio driver. Once I reverted back to a 6 month older one xGen Interactive is working nicely. The driver version is 591.74.

That being said, surely the xGen team can resolve this issue can they? Updating drivers is crucial since Arnold requires them every now and then, after a while we'll have to choose between xGen or Arnold!
