Maya 2023 Component Selection Issues

I just installed 2023 and I'm having a strange issue with selecting components. When I click one face at a time, for example, the most recently selected face does not highlight until I select another face then the previously selected face highlights. Also if I double click an edge it only shows the one edge highlighted and not the whole loop but the modeling toolkit panel shows multiple edges are selected. This seems to happen in the isolate select window and not the full view window.

I have the exact same issue. Its becoming a bit annoying. Has anyone found a solution for this yet?

It seems to be related to this issue https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/maya-forum/maya-2023-f-to-frame-components-in-isolated-view-bug/m-p/11102909 but the only workaround is patching it myself which I don't know ow to do. I attempted to but it broke my install and I had to reinstall 2023.

Thanks Brent, I'm glad that the shelf Icon label now works, however the camera bookmarks still don't retain the name, it just keeps saving "CameraView1..2..3 etc.

Yes , that's exactly how I've always done and trying to rename after creating it also doesn't do anything. I just tried again.Also deleted my preferences and did it again. That was for perspective cam, create a new camera and try to bookmark any angle and it does not save.Windows 10

Thanks @sepu6 but mine is not saving at the moment unfortunately.👍

Kelly Hynes just suggested hitting "Enter or Return " in the keyboard and that works 👌 , however the Apply button seems to be failing. Also renaming works with the keyboard.

Hello,

It works for me as long as I press return after entering a new name in the bookmark editor. If I use the 'Apply' button, it does not work. Sometimes I have an error in the Script Ed. I will log this defect.

The update helped the framing issue but not the highlighting issue. As an example here I have 4 faces selected but only 3 are highlighted. This only happens in isolation mode.

I also have highlighting problems in isolate select. when i isolate select some faces then select a single one among them, the face highlighted is not the one I currently select but the previous one. though ls command looks correct so i guess it's just a highlighting issue
