topic Camera tool for walking in Maya Forum

I am making a room in real life scale. I would really like to be able to move in that room as if I was in the 3d space myself. I tried setting up a camera for my eyes so I couod move in the room. I also tried the walk and fly camera tools. Everything in my room is real scale measured in inches. Still even after looking through my camera and moving around it doesn't feel real. It feels like the room is too small. I want to create a realistic moving experience. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can best achieve realistic navigation in my 3d space?

If your scale is correct and the camera is at the right height, perhaps try changing the angle of view and focal length of the camera. Being too wide can make a room look smaller. https://photodoto.com/camera-lens-closest-to-human-eye/

Thank you. It feels much more natural to walk around in the 3d space with the adjusted camera.
