      <title>removed textures while importing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've just started learning maya and having some online courses from lynda. when i tried to import some scenes, i've noticed that some textures weren't visible-either hidden or simply removed due to an error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i'm supposed to see the scene as it is on the above, but get the one in below instead.&lt;IMG src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/222246iE4E9C7C3020A47FD/image-size/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="maya.jpg" title="maya.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;also getting a warning that says &lt;STRONG&gt;"Warning: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2014/scripts/startup/rememberViewportSettings.mel line 43: Active stereo does not work with Aero enabled. Active stereo has been disabled."&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;but as far as i understand from similar posts it doesn't have anything to do with the issue i'm having.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Click on the ground plane, and see what material is assigned to it in the attribute editor. If you click on the little checkerboard icon next to the Color field, you'll be able to see where Maya is trying to find the texture file. You can then click on the folder icon and re-direct it to the proper location for the texture file on your drive.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
