Oh wow... I totally didn't know NVIDIA Quadro existed! And it's built for 3D rendering and such!

Thanks 🙂 I'll think about that when maybe I upgrade my gear one day.

Every time I hit Spacebar to switch to quad views, it makes my Maya Not Respond.

I tried tearing off, but that also crashes it.

Reinstalling and resetting settings by deleting documents folder doesn't work either.

It's always some kind of problem, either this or I can't even open Maya, today it's this problem with the viewport.

Thank You! 🙂

What rendering setting is your viewport set to?

What are you PC specs?

What size scene are you working with?

FWIW...I don't use shortcuts like that to change viewports because of that reason...swapping them like that with complex scenes usually end in a crash..

My settings should be default and the my scene was blank, I just opened Maya.

So how would you switch to quad view other than the shortcut and the button on the sidebar?

Ok weird thing right now... I just went to test it again, and now switching works... This is really weird, I didn't touch it and now it works and I don't know how long that will last before it breaks again, haha.

My specs should be more than recommended...

i7 5th gen, 16 RAM, 8.1 64-bit, and GeForce GTX 970M.

Just make sure you save a lot...in case it crashes.

Software isn't perfect...sometimes they crash..

Make sure your video drivers are up to date...and keep in mind that your video card is not on the certified hardware list...even the latest one for Ext2.
