Maya 2017 Update 2

I see that the Maya 2017 Update 2 is out.

I was wondering if Update 2 contains all the patches from Update 1.

Basically, for new installations of Maya 2017, do I have to first patch 2017 with Update 1 and then Update 2 consecutively... or can I just install 2017 and patch with Update 2 directly?

Hi!

As Autodesk stated: Each update will contain the fixes and features of any update prior to it.

So you just need to install update2.

all good and well but I cant find it anywhere, my maya does not have the 'help->check updates' menu?

and the desktop app just says I am up to date, but that is surely not the case

I found it...

It was in my downloadable updates in my manage.autodesk.com account

but wierd thing is .. it was at the bottom of the list anonymously sitting there, while 2016 ext etc were flagged as 'reccommended' at the top!?!?
