Arnold rendering

Hi everything seem to be working fine on my mac with arnold until suddenly I go this message

# Error: line 1: UnicodeEncodeError: file /Applications/Autodesk/maya2017/Maya.app/Contents/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/Current/lib/python2.7/encodings/utf_8.py line 16: ascii

I can't seem to find what is going on?

I tried deleting maya and arnold from my applications and re-installing them but it still shows me this message.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Could you share what you are doing when the error occurs? Is it consistent or random? Could you describe what happens after the error pops up?

Also, OS version (full number) and specs are always helpful.

When does this happen? When you start Maya and load MtoA? When you render?

What about your project folders? Or your home directory? Do those folder names use any non-ascii characters like é ? Or spaces?

I seem to have fixed the problem. All I did is go in my preferences folder then autodesk and and changed the name of the prefs folder to prefsold and it seemed to have fixed my Arnold probleme but the problemes seems to come back any now and then.
