Hotkey Editor Changes Back to Default

Hey guys,

Do you know how to make the Hotkey Editors, Hotkey Sets stop changing back to the Maya default every start up?

I set it to my Maya Default Duplicate" Hotkey set but it wont stay as that set...

Heres a picture of the hotkey sets

I know Maya should be able to save these presets because it keeps doing it with the windows I have open.

Like sometimes when I open Maya it will have 2 outliner windows open and Shape Editor window open
which is obv not the default windows it will have open but something I had open last...

(Btw is there a way to change specifically which windows I want open at default startup?)

Thanks for posting! Have you tried following this tutorial, Maya Hotkey Fixing ?

It states that after assigning your Hotkeys and saving the set, make sure you go to Windows > Workspaces> Maya Classic [ ] > click Link a Hotkey Set to this workspace > Choose your Hotkey set from the dropdown menu > Apply and Close

Also, if you are using 2017, make sure you have the most recent version installed 🙂 We currently have Update 4 available
