topic Jagged Geometry, in Maya Forum

Hello,

I am working at a relatively large scale to reconstruct a building for which I had to set the camera far clipping plane up to 1000000.00 (from the default 10000.00)

I am modelling a column and the intersection of the column and the beam is buggy/jagged (for lack of a better description). I was wondering if this is because the clipping plane is so big and if there is a way to remove this jaggedness.

Thanks in advance!

Levi

Hi @lhmullan I just tried this on my machine and its a mixture of the clipping plane being so high as well as you being zoomed out. If you zoom in or lower the clipping plane the jaggedness should go away.
