Help, object won't stop showing vertex

I have a mesh that I combined with another, but when I'm finished somehow the mesh won't stop showing its vertex. In all preview mode it still keeps showing vertex. I tried deleting history and re-opening Maya, it still doesn't go away.

Hi @Anonymous

You say you've checked in all preview modes, do you mean faces/edges/vertices? If not try holding right-click over the mesh and select face to see if that solves your issue.

You can also try deleting your settings/preferences

If those steps don't work can you attach a screenshot of your issue and/or attach the scene file here via dropbox/google drive?

Hi!

You may enabled this in Shape: Mesh Component Display -> Display Vertices.

Just uncheck.

If this is not the problem, please upload the scene-file.

pick what rendering your using and restore it to default. happens to me.

Sorry, totally forgot to check back in. I don't remembered how exactly it disappeared, but I think it was because I go into UV Shell. I was doing UV cutting and by the time I realized the vertex disappeared.
