DAE Texture Missing

Howdy ya'll.

I'm exporting from Maya to give to our programer for an AR game. The programmer said they need DAE files, but when I'm exporting a model thats textured, on their computer it comes up with Missing textures on the model.

Is their something I can do to export it with the textures? Or can someone help identify why the models are showing up without textures?

Hi!

If you import the files back to Maya are the textures correct? If yes, then it's likely a problem on the import at the programmer side (maybe wrong file path, missing feature ...).

I also have the same problem. I'm working with Maya and ARKit, in two different computers. I have a Model in Maya with relative path for textures (Textures/"texture.jpg") but when I export the model in DAE_FBX and open it in notepad the URL for the textures is not relative, it is instead file:///User/Name ...

Is there any solution to modify the path on exporting or maybe a python script to do this?

Try checking the export options. Under "File" while selecting "Export all..." or "Export Selection...", you'll see a square besides these two options. click it and a box will open and there click "include options" and check whether "include texture info" is selected or not?
