Help: Failed to finalize the color transform

Hello there I'm a new user trying to get Maya to work properly.

Apon opening of Maya I recieve the error message from Color Managment "Failed to apply color management setting on file open: Failed to finalize color transform.."

As well as the output window telling me:

Graphic device does not support OpenGL Core Profile, fallback to OpenGL renderer.
VP2 Error : Failed to initialize graphics device.
Error: The GPU adaptor of the transform to finalize is null
Error: Failed to apply color management settings on file open: Failed to finalize the color transform..
Error: The GPU adaptor of the transform to finalize is null
Error: Failed to finalize the color transform.

API error detected in S:\Maya_2017_DI\src\Maya\src\Components\BifrostTmp\plugins\mayavis\BFPlugin.cpp at line 117
: (kFailure): Unexpected Internal Failure
Failed to register registerFragments.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Hi!

For Maya you need a proper 3D Graphic Card.

Try different Viewport Modes (for example "DirectX").

Delete userPrefObjects.ma and restart Maya.
