Maya failed to finalize the color transform in linux

Hiii, this is bhuvanesh and i encountered an error while starting maya 2017 as Maya failed to finalize the color transform (in dialogue box ) and Error: The GPU adaptor of the transform to finalize is null(as popup below) after installing it in Ubuntu 16.04 and i have no prior knowledge related to this and i used the steps in this link to install maya in my ubuntu 16.04 https://www.linuxhint.com/install-autodesk-maya-2017-ubuntu/ . I use a Dell Laptop (Vostro 15 3000 series) with 12GB RAM and Integrated graphics . I have also attached the screenshots with this.I am passionate to learn maya so kindly help me on this.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

There's a few steps that may help fix this, however they may or may not work for Linux.

1. Use a different server/viewer RealVNC will work

2. Set viewport renderer to be DirectX not OpenGL

3. Set the following Environment Variables either through a system variable or through the maya.env file found in the preferences folder:

MAYA_CM_DISABLE_ERROR_POPUPS=1 MAYA_COLOR_MGT_NO_LOGGING=1
