Bifrost problems

Hi Guys. Been trying to make a cube an emitter for bifrost and whenever I do this I get an error message saying: // Error: file: /Applications/Autodesk/maya2016.5/plug-ins/bifrost/scripts/addBifrostLiquidAV3.mel line 51: setAttr: No object matches name: unknown2.bifrostRenderType //

Then when I select my cube (emitter) from then in attribute editor it says my object is "unknown1". I'm more than a little puzzled to be honest.

Any Maya ace's got any idea what's going on?...Please! 😉

Hi!

Try a reset of your preferences.
Rename the folder prefs in folder 2016.5 to something like prefs_backup, or to reset everything, the folder 2016.5 to 2016.5_backup. Maya creates new folders. Detailed at:
