      <title>collapse problem</title>

&lt;P&gt;In the tutorial video, the user only selects one edge and collapses it while you selected two and collapsed. That's why it looks different on your model compared to the one in video.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Another option so you have more control, is to use the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;'Target Weld'&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;To do this:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Select one Vertex&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Go to Mesh Tools-&amp;gt;Target Weld&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Drag from one vertex to 'weld' it to another vertex&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This will combine the two vertices into one and should help achieve the desired effect!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
