collapse problem

i am working on lips. i want to collapse two edges. it is ok on video. but it is wrond when i did it. you can see video. edges are not same. can you help me please? where is the wrong?

Hi @Anonymous

In the tutorial video, the user only selects one edge and collapses it while you selected two and collapsed. That's why it looks different on your model compared to the one in video.

Another option so you have more control, is to use the 'Target Weld'

To do this:

Select one Vertex
Go to Mesh Tools->Target Weld
Drag from one vertex to 'weld' it to another vertex

This will combine the two vertices into one and should help achieve the desired effect!
