Maya 2016 The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)

I have accomplished in getting a Qtcore4.dll from another source from the computer. However, the problem now states about the apllication unable to start.

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

I found some potential solutions in this thread.

The steps are:

1.) Search the folder you installed the product from for a file called MSVCR100.DLL. If you find multiple copies select one with a file size of 809 KB

2.) Copy MSVCR100.DLL from the location in the install folder

Paste it into the following folders

C:\Windows\System32\

C:\windows\Syswow64

say yes to replacing the file

3.) Reboot your system and try lunching the product again.

Hi,

Thanks Sean for providing support, but I had solved my problems in an unexpected result - I downloaded the extension 2 and service pack 6 for Maya 2016. It worked but I got the "extension 2 application" instead of "Maya 2016 application".

Thank you again for the overall help you have provided for me.
