Insert Edge Loop help please

Hello,

I was wondering if when I insert an edge loop is it possible to move by increments such as 10% 20% 30% 40% 50% just like the multi cut tool? I am having a hard time aligning an insert edge loop perfectly in between 2 edges and one side is larger than the other, any help is appreciated thank you!

Hi,

Multi-cut can be used insert edge loops by holding down Ctrl. Ctrl+Shift will give you the increment snapping and Ctrl+MMB will insert an edge loop at 50%.

The insert-edge loop tool does not have percentage snapping like multi-cut but there are options for relative vs. equal distances, inserting multiple edge loops. (setting this to 1 will insert an edge loop half-way etc)
