Maya 2015 Bad Image Error 0xc0000020

I have the same problem with Maya 2015...

It seems like Qtcore4.dll has 0 bytes.

I reinstalled the program a several time, but it didn't help.

What do you mean by copying all the .dll files? Where to? And is that any use, since the file has 0 bytes....

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

If the .dll file has 0 bytes it is most likely corrupted.

When you uninstall and reinstalled Maya, did you perform a clean uninstall/reinstall of Maya? If not, you'll want to follow those steps as it will completely remove every folder and file related to Autodesk and Maya so you can have a fresh slate when you install.

You could also try deleting the temp folder found at C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Temp

You're solution worked for a few days, but after that i got the same problem again...
Is there an other solution that keeps working?

Sorry to hear that! I did however find an article that has some steps on how to resolve this!

While it says Maya 2017, the same process can be done for 2015 most importantly uninstalling the C++ redistributables.

Since you are working with Maya 2015 we can modify the steps a bit:

Go to this link to
Uninstall and reinstall the C++s
Uninstall Maya 2015
Reinstall Maya 2015
