Maya 2017 Arnold render view stuck

Hy!

My Arnold render view opens up in the bottom of the Attribute editor panel with no reason, and the separate Arnold render view window opens up empty. See the attached image. I tried to change the workspace from the dropdown list, but the problem still occures. Any idea?

Hi @Anonymous

It looks like something has been messed up in your preferences. Since it looks like you have some custom shelves/scripts I'd recommend backing up your prefs folder and then try deleting your settings/preferences.

Our IT guy resetted the userPrefs, and now it works again. Thank you for your help.

A better solution is to rename/remove the prefs/mainWindowStates folder. That way you don't lose other set preferences. I experience this problem in 2018 as well.
