Mayatomr procedure was not found

Hi everyone,

I have a problem to load a mental ray plugin for maya 2016. Similar topic are already mentioned here, but it didn't help me.

If I use a checkbox "loaded" in Plug-in Manager to load mental ray, it says error "procedure could not be found".

I attached a screenshot where you can see the path to Mayatomr file and files I used for installation.

If anyone can help me to solve this probem, I would really appreciate it!

Hi!

Wrong site. Your link is for Maya 2015 and not Maya 2016.

yes sorry, I just copied a wrong link for the purpose of this topic. But I have installed the correct one - for 2016.

Hi!

Maya and Mental Ray versions have to match.

If it doesn't work you might try uninstalling and re-installing one or both applications.

But first try a reset of your preferences.
Rename the folder prefs in folder 2018 to something like prefs_backup, or to reset everything, the folder 2018 to 2018_backup (or even the maya folder to maya_backup). Maya creates new folders (don't copy preferences from previous Maya versions). Detailed at:

Hi,

I had to completely reinstall autodesk aplications and now it works. So thank you for your advice!
