Maya 2017 Update 5 & Renderman 21.6 not rendering presets or PxrSurface

Hi !

My problem is that when I render there is nothing but white for my meshes and no shaders if not anything at all even in HyperShade embed view it happens to rarely shows up correctly but crashes Maya not long after.

I tried on 2 different configs one with a GTX 660 Phenom X6 and one with GTX 1080ti i7 3.3Ghz.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

While I don't have access to renderman, the output log mentioned an out of disk space error. Are any of your hard drives near full capacity?

Also, are all of your GPU drivers up to date?

Steps to update your drivers can be found here!

Please let me know if anything changes!

Disk is 1/3 full and drivers up to date on the 1080ti, thanks for replying.

Hmmm okay.

Out of curiosity, could you apply an arnold shader and render with Arnold instead to see if any issues occur?

I want to see if we can narrow it down to a Maya issue and/or a Renderman issue.
