Maya file change to unknown format

I'm using maya 2016 and when i save my file to mb file, my format changed and i couldnt open it 😞

I may accidentally hit the button but I can't find it

Any solution?

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

If you right click the file and hit rename, you can type out a name for the file and add .mb at the end for example "My_File.mb".

Also I highly recommend using underscores "_" instead of periods when you name files so you can avoid the risk of issues like this in the future
