Maya Startup: File read errors, data loss

Been having issues for a few weeks now when I open certain scenes. I've been losing the textures, having data loss/file read errors and crashing several times a day. Looks like there's a few errors here. See below. Let me know if you need the scene file. It is quite large.

I'd like to test the scene on my machine to see if the same errors occur so when you get a chance, can you please zip and attach the scene file here or via dropbox/google drive or another file sharing program so I can take a look at it?

Thanks man, I'll send you a zip file in a bit.

Having some further errors. With Arnold the rendering engine shows up fine. But when I close the dialog box and reopen it the box is empty. I need to restart Maya for it to work again. I reinstalled Arnold but the issue persists. Also just there when I save the file I get a warning saying the file cannot save.

Hi @alex_bannerman

I was able to load all three scene files with minimal errors aside from a few missing shaders which makes sense since I didn't set up the file paths.

That said, it looks like it may be something with your Maya. You may want to try deleting your settings/preferences and/or perform a clean uninstall/reinstall of Maya.

Just be sure to backup your projects folder so you don't lose any data!

Thanks for taking a look. I've deleted preferences a few times. Doesn't make a difference. I'll try a fresh install and get back to you if this fixes any of the issues I've been having. Think Maya crashed up to 10 times just today...seems to occur when I cancel a single frame render or when I turn on/off the referenced files.
