Maya crashing upon unloading mtoa.bundle, loading redshift4maya.bundle

This is a new one for me. Maya 2017 and 2018 crashing upon unloading mtoa.bundle, loading redshift4maya.bundle

Loading or unloading of any other plugins are fine-- including Vray, just with Arnold and Redshift.

This is on a 10.12.6 Mac Pro-- I have deleted preferences and deleted everything maya and re-installed, still no go. Have installed updates for Maya, Arnold and Redshift. Oh, and I've repaired permissions too.

Any ideas?

Is this specific to macOS or something the dev team has logged across platforms? I know some users here have had this issue, and they may be macOS users but I would just like to double check its repeatability if it’s already a known issue.

Thanks for the update. Do you have a ticket I could follow? And will the fix go in to updates for 2017 and 2018 or into some later release?

While it may be more apparent with Mac, the issue has been logged across all platforms.

@fxvet unfortunately I can't share our bug logs with the public that said, when the bug is fixed I'll be sure to update this thread!

The developers have discovered a fix for this it just has not been implemented yet. It should be coming in the near future to a new update/release of Maya.

This still seems to be a problem.

Unloading the plugin, or running the command cmds.pluginInfo("stoa", e=True, rm=True), crashes Maya on Windows 10. This is on Maya 2023.3.

Any idea when this will be fixed? Or in which future version of Maya/mtoa?
