It would be great if autodesk try to make an uptimized version of maya for android tablets 🙂

just think you are modeling a 3d character without using any labtop or computer. The android version should have a realy simple ui system for uptimization and also a good accesible buttons

The models we create should be lowpoly due to our android phone system...

Dont you think it will be a biiiig advance?

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

The idea is solid in theory but it's gonna be a long way off with the current tech inside phones

Plus trying to set up a proper navigation system to rotate and pan but also model would no doubt be difficult.

That said, who knows what the future may bring

Have you ever heard of "spacedraw" android software? Take a look at that and try it, then you'll know that a pro3D-modeling on android is not impossible!!

Android is a mobile operating system based on a modified version of the Linux kernel.

So there might be some chances to convert Maya linux to Android.
