Hi Sean:

Thank you for your solution. Yes, I had one camera 1-400 and second 400-800. It works fine. But, having set up two cameras with two paths, how do I make view from both cameras. When I click panels, I can only select camera 1 or camera 2. How do I select view from both cameras?

thank you,

A

Hello,

Apparently all cameras in four view mode began to show the same view. If I change view in one camera - it changes all cameras. How to reset it?

Help please.

Hi @Anonymous

Most likely all the cameras have been set to the same view.

To fix this, while hovering in a viewport hold down the space key and with your mouse hovering over 'Maya' hold down your left click. You should see a list of the views pop up like perspective, side, front etc. Now you can simply select which one you want for each panel and should be back to normal!

Please let me know if this helps or if you need any more assistance!

Hi Sean:

I have been able to create entire object (fetal anatomy) and would like to have camera perform two tasks. 1: provide a view of the entire anatomy from outside by going around the object, (2) once finished its entire circle around the object, it should now follow a vessel inside the anatomy. I am able to do each one separately but cannot combine them.

Can I use two cameras (1) pointed towards object from outside and going around, (2) point camera directed along the path as path takes inside the vessel in the body?

Thanks

A.

Hi @Anonymous

Yes you can do this. One way that may be easy would be to have one camera on the trail then right where it ends have the second camera in the exact same position to "take over" then follow the vessel.

You would just need to render twice so you have one render from the camera doing the circle and one following the vessel.

Another option, would be to just make it one large motion trail so as soon as the circle finishes it then smoothly changes and follows the vessel!

Please let me know if this helps or if you need any more assistance!

Thank you, Sean:

I did set up with two paths and two cameras. I do see both camera begin the same time.

Hi @Anonymous

You would need to key it to start at the last frame of the first camera.

For example, if your first camera moves on frames 1-120, the second camera needs to be keyed to start at frame 120 and go until whenever you would like it to stop.
