Maya 2018 can't launch with blank output window???

I've downloaded Maya 2018 Student version for a year. And It ran smoothly up till today. I can't launch maya 2018 with a blank output window as a result. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem? I have spent like more thaan 3 hours to figure out the solutions but they won't help.

Hi! What are the hardware specs of your machine? Also, what GPU are you using and are the drivers up to date? Finally, have there been any major updates to your OS or firwall/anti-virus that might be causing this issue? Please let me know if anything changes!

Hi! Your GPU isn't on our certified hardware list so that could be causing the issue. I'd highly recommend making sure the drivers are up to date. If that doesn't work, you may want to try a clean uninstall/reinstall of Maya. in fact i have tried these two solutions before. But it doesn't work. I think it's my graphic card problem. I can't open any other 3D applications or OpenGL-based software such as Photoshop, Substance Designer, and Houdini.

Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and completely remove the NVIDIA driver. Then reboot and reinstall it. I usually uncheck GeForce experience and I never update through it. I recommend 388.71, but you can always try the latest 39X release. If you also run DaVinci Resolve 15 you’ll need 390+.

I can confirm, however, that the 970M works totally fine with Maya 2016, 2016.5, 2017, and 2018. My laptop of 3 years has been going strong with it 🙂

It does definitely sound like a GPU issue but the steps @Anonymous provided are great and should help you out.

Have you had a chance to try them?

I do have the same problem with maya 2017 and 2018 I even try to download the 2016 but when installed it's not working either. Some day when I'm starting my computer it's working pretty well but if I close the window of Maya and I wanna reopen it I'm having the blank output windows popping up and nothing happen. And some other days like now, When I lunch it nothing happen but the output window.

I tried to lunch Maya as an Administrator and it's changing nothing, I updated all my drivers, I'm running out of ideas.....

I have an I7 6700k, a NVidia GTX 1070 and 16 Go of RAM
