How to change maya playblast font size?

Hi to all!

I want to change the maya playblast font size, because i need to render some "playblasts" with locators inside (cm & meter dimensions of a building) in 4k & 8k resolution. But on that large resolution the maya playblast font size is very small and nearly impossible to read!

any ideas?

I'm a bit confused when you mention the font size.

Do you have text displayed in the scene and that's what's appearing small?

When you get a chance, can you please post a screenshot of your scene and/or the playblast so I can see what's going wrong?

Maybe i explained it wrong. The font in Maya is fine - always the same size in the different cam-views. But if you ad a messure locator (to mesure the distant from two points in maya cam views the font size is fine, if you playblast the same scene in a high resolution 4k or more - the font of the locator does'nt scale anymore and is very small(see attached pic). This just happens on Playblast - the editor views are fine!!!

Ah ok thanks for clarifying what your issue is!

I just tried this with Maya 2018.3 and had no issues even when playblasting at 4k resolution.

What version of Maya are you on and is it up to date?

Also, what GPU are you using and are the drivers up to date?
