&lt;P&gt;Generally when making a wire like that I use a cylinder, shift select the curve and then Extrude. This way I have my wire and if I move any of the control points it will effect the wire.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In your case, you say you want to make it flatter. Couldn't you just scale the whole model down in the Y axis to make it appear flatter?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Probably easy question but I can't google it: I have a group of object that looks like a wire. I created a curve that looks like the object - the question is how to constrain the group to the curve, so if I edit the curve - the group will edit as well?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to make the group more like flat...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is an example picture with wire and a curve.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
