OpenCL problem; Grooming tools

Hey there

I think the openCL problem is a pretty popular problem. But i still cant find a specific answer that works for me.

I want to use my grooming tools. They always worked. But now i get an error "OpenCl is Disabled".

i have a HP Omen Notebook. So my Graphic card should be fine. And idk why something should suddenly be disabled.

Can someone help me out?

Hi @rominamaciariello and welcome to the community!

What GPU are you using and is the driver the same as our certified hardware list?

You can find our certified hardware list here!

You can also try opening your Maya.env file and add this line to it:

MAYA_IGNORE_OPENCL_VERSION=1

Thanks for the answer. I have a GTX 1060 Nivida. So it should be fine

Hi @rominamaciariello

Yes the 1060 is on the list but if your driver version 390.77?

If not, please uninstall your current GPU drivers and install version 390.77 which can be found here!
