How to update Maya?

I followed the download link in this post:

And the page it brought me to was this:

I tried downloading the hotfix and running it, but it looks like it's just for the license server.

I'm having problems with Maya crashing so often I've uninstalled and reinstalled and now trying to update.

When I navigate to the download section there's a weird glitch when hovering over the link where the info blinks on/off real fast. The only link is a download for the help files. I can't seem to find the update anywhere.

Hi @Anonymous!

The hotfix displayed in the screenshot you posted is not the Update 5 for Maya 2018.

I would suggest to download and to install the Update 5 using the Autodesk Desktop App.

Yes, I'm aware the hotfix is not the update I am looking for. When I run the Autodesk app it says my available updates are installed and doesn't give me any options

I had to uninstall and reinstall Maya it was crashing so often. I am currently running the base 2018 version

The update is not available through the link posted in the forum, nor the download section of the website, nor through the dedicated software management app. Nobody has been able to give me a direct link to it. I really hate to say it, but this software is horrible.

Hello @Anonymous,

you can basically download Maya updates from your Autodesk Account: Install a new version of your software.

Please be aware that the latest updates of Maya can contain of more than 1 file. Make sure that the pop up blocker of your browser is deactivated to download all parts.
