Crash when issuing commands at keyboard

Hello,

I have version of Maya 2018 (Student Version). At the start everything was great, but later things got worse. I was doing the simplest actions in Maya, like: move, extrude, bridge..and after 5 min, Maya just crashed and freeze window. In two days its happened to me like 15times. I updated my graphic card and reseted the default of Maya and still that is happening.. I have strong computer, so it is not his fault..I don't know what is happening.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

When your Maya crashed did it generate an error report to fill out? If so, can you please fill it out and let me know what the CER report number is?

Also, what GPU are you using and does the driver version match with our certified hardware list?

1. My answer on your first question is no. Maya did not generate any report to fill out.

2. My GPU is I7 7700K .

3. Yes, my driver version match with certified hardware list.

Two days ago I installed it Maya 2017 and it's still working without crashing. I installed Maya 2017 because I have to work for my college and I couldn't with Maya 2018.

Hi @Anonymous

I7 7700K is not your GPU, it is your CPU.

Please let me know what GPU you are using and what the driver version is. You can find this by going to Start->Device Manager-> Display Adapters.
