So when I import my inventor object into maya it becomes tessellated and the topology becomes impossible to uv map. I was wondering if I am importing incorrectly or if there is a certain way to take an object from inventor into maya without having the topology be affected. The image is a part of the object imported into maya, in inventor it looks normal but here it is broken up completely. I have tried Obj and Stl file types and they have the same result.
