Broken Licensing tool on Linux

Hello, I've had some issues with logging in to my Autodesk account during Maya start up which turned out to be a common issue on Linux Fedora with Maya 2025.

I've read that the issue is related to a broken licensing tool package that basically doesn't function well ever since the version 14 had been released.

I've left the 2025 version of Maya for now, waiting for a fix, and went back to Maya 2024.
Version 13 of adsklicensing runs with no issues so I want to just keep using this version instead of 14.4.0 but the adsklicensing14.4.0.11537.x86_64 package keeps installing itself every few hours.

The workaround is to manually remove adsklicensing14.4.0.11537.x86_64 in dnf but it really is tedious at times.

Is there an estimate when's the fix released for the licensing tool or can I at least disable the automatic update on Fedora 41?

Thanks, same issue with Rocky linux 9.5 and Ubuntu, Autodesk messed up

Maya 2026 with Autodesk Licensing Tool v15 still won't let me launch the program. I tried moving to Maya from Blender as I hoped it would support Linux just as good as Blender does but sadly I don't think I'll ever be able to use the latest versions of Maya and I don't feel like staying behind on 2024.2 given I've paid a pretty substantial amount of money for this.

I don't know if anyone from Autodesk cares about Linux support but at the very least I can post the logs I get from the error message:

I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware that we have let our internal identity tool team know of this limitation. Unfortunately at this time we just do not have any further information as to when and if this will be addressed.

Im trying to install the 2024 on Fedora 42. Everythin is "ok", but i cant register a license. How you registered yours?
