Purchased Maya 2019 today, 1-day rental for $26.

All I needed to do is model out a very simple poly object and render it in various angles with vector render for Maya.

Have had great results last year with 2018, but every attempt has crashed Maya after I render globals with a "Fatal Error" "save to temp" blah blah blah. Many hours today lost to searching for solutions or fixes.

I haven't been able to use Maya 2019 yet because of the serious bugs. The worst being the render bug introduced with 2019. 2018 works fine. I just create a cube, change the renderer to Vector and render the current frame and Maya crashes. Filed a bug report months ago. I waited months for an update but 2019.1 with new preferences does the same thing. This is unbelievably sloppy on the part of Autodesk. We use Vector on every project. Why go through the trouble to submit a bug report if nothing happens?

Same issue. Brand new scene, add any primitive, render in Vector, crash.

Thank you Parm.

2019.2 did in fact solve my issue with Vector Renderer.

Installed Maya 2019.2 30-day trial this morning (7.31.2019). Got it all updated and installed.

Created primitive sphere, cone and cylinder. Rendered with Maya Vector Renderer, and worked fine.

*I also installed a previous Nvidia Studio Driver 430.86, due to that this is what Autodesk verified is stable for use and it rendered fine.

*Updated my Nvidia Studio Driver to 431.70, which is the current update as of writing this reply. Rendered same scene fine.
